Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - one of Jim Carrey's straight (non comedic) roles and one I really appreciate him in. Eternal Sunshine poses a few questions but the most important being: If you had the ability to erase a person completely away from your life, would you? It explores the idea that even if you weren't perfect in a relationship, could you still be fated to be in someone's life? A great film and one of my favourites. (The icing on the cake - Kate Winslet (Clementine) is in it and with lovely brightly coloured hair  )

Favourite quotes from the film:

Clementine: I don't need nice. I don't need myself to be it, and I don't need anybody else to be it at me.

Clementine: You're not a stalker, or anything, right?
Joel: I'm not a stalker. YOU'RE the one that talked to me, remember?
Clementine: That is the oldest trick in the stalker book.
Joel: Really? There's a stalker book? Great, I gotta read that one.

Clementine: Drink up, young man. It'll make the whole seduction part less repugnant.

Clementine: I'm not a concept. Too many guys think I'm a concept or I complete them or I'm going to make them alive, but I'm just a fucked up girl who is looking for my own peace of mind. Don't assign me yours.

Joel: Constantly talking isn't necessarily communicating.

I have a LOT of favourite films, ones that I could watch time and time again. But I'm more interested in hearing about your favourite films and why they are your favourite films. So, post and let's see if we can get a discussion going 8-)

You mentioned Leon! Seriously, no one I know seems to have heard of that movie. You have excellent taste in movies. Leon is a great film, one of my favourites.

Alright another one of my favourites is From Dusk till dawn. If you love horror, gore and a good vampire movie, why haven't you watched this already? Quentin Tarantino movie so you know it's probably good. All I say is the words: "*** Machine" and "Santanico Pandemonium" if you watch for no other reason, you'll want to see those characters. Great movie.

Oh and these vampires definately don't sparkle... ;)

You could have had it under a spoiler with a warning lol. Also you had that speech for a ringtone, that's so friggin' awesome :D If you are easily offended, don't look at spoiler. :P

Spoiler:
Santanico Pandemonium: I'm not gonna drain you completely. You're gonna turn for me. You'll be my slave. You'll live for me. You'll eat bugs because I order it. Why? Because I don't think you're worthy of human blood. You'll feed on the blood of stray dogs. You'll be my foot stool. And at my command, you'll lick the dog **** from my boot heel. Since you'll be my dog, your new name will be "Spot". Welcome to slavery.
Seth: No, thanks. I've already had a wife.

Part of that famous speech....

Chet *****: Attention ***** shoppers! Take advantage of our penny ***** sale! If you buy one piece of ***** at the regular price, you get another piece of ***** of equal or lesser value for only a penny! Try and beat ***** for a penny! If you can find cheaper ***** anywhere else, **** it!

ha yea exactly. i just love a ringtone for shock reaction value.

i also as a ringtone had the opening to the robbery in pulp fiction:
"EVERYBODY BE COOL THIS IS A ROBBERY!

...ANY OF YOU FUCKING PRICKS MOVE N I'LL EXECUTE EVERY MOTHERFUCKING LAST ONE OF YOU!"

yes it went off in a library. and other quiet places. and grannys were horrified. n i loved it. *insert evil laughter*. 8-)

lol yes my humour is certainly a little evil.

what recent films have you seen n liked then? from 2014/2015

iv been watching a few sci fi recently that i dont normally do. 'transcendence', 'lucy', n 'divergent'... they were all.. ok. i really liked the concept of all 3, but felt mayb all could of been executed better. maybe im being too critical, they're all worth a watch. n i will be watching the sequal to divergent, insurgent or something out this year.

horrors.. not been many good ones recently, last decent was 'the conjuring'. i might have the year wrong might be a little older. 'woman in black 2' was ****!.
um n wasnt last year but 'sinister' i thought was actually a lot better than i expected. yea cant think of many horrors that have been good n come out recently. I've prob already watched them n forgotten about it tho.

That's a good question, I'm strugging to think of a good recent film... Maleficent was a fairly good film, I like to twist of having the supposed villain of the piece tell their side of things. I like villians more than heroes. Serious Joker fan here. I do prefer Mark Hamill's Joker though. Heath was good, don't get wrong but for me Mark's Joker.
